How to Configure Windows 8 File History to Recover Deleted Files


Windows 8 includes several advanced features inside it that allows an user to recover your data as well as the entire system that is your system backup. It includes File recovery, email recovery, file modification etc. Here in this blog i will show you how to turn on File History, configure it and recover files that are deleted by fault.

Turn on and Configure Windows 8 File History:

 In Windows 8 File History is turned off by default and you will need to enable it. You need to have an internal or external drive connected to your PC Before turning it on.

Configure File History:
After turning on the File History, You will see an option to configure in Advanced Settings.
Here you are able to set to save copies of files. It is set to back up every hour, but you can change the backup time and choose it according to your need.
File History backs up everything in Favorites, Libraries, Contacts and all items on the Desktop.

Recover Files from File History:
If you delete any document or file and you want it back, then this is a useful feature.
Firstly you need to type combination of WinKey + W to open the Settings Search and type file history. After that click on its icon under the results.

Now you can recover the file which you want. The most recent backup of the files will displays. You can also direct it to back in time to earlier dates, it allows you to recover files that were modified on a certain date.

For the recovery of a file make a right click on it and select Restore option or you can hold Ctrl and highlight each file you need and then click on the green restore button.

If you need to recover all the files in a directory you can also do it by clicking on the green restore button without selecting  any files.
So above are the ways to recover deleted files.

How to Disable Windows 8 Hot Corners from Displaying Charms Bar and Switcher??


Windows 8 the latest operating system recently launched operating system by Microsoft. When windows 8 purchase by you , it has hot corners that will allow you to bring up the Charms bar and App Switcher by  flitter the mouse in the right or left corners of the screen.

Adjust Windows 8 Registry:
There is requirements of adjustment in the Registry in windows 8. Firstly you need to back it up before making any changes.

Now you need to use the keyboard shortcut WinKey + R to open the Run dialog box. After tat yu needto trype regedit in the run box and then click OK or press Enter.

Now you have to follow the path given below:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ImmersiveShell

Make a right click on the ImmersiveShell folder and select New and then Key.

After that you have to type EdgeUI for the new key name, then make a right click and select New then DWORD (32-bit) Value.
Now you need to give it a name like DisableCharmsHint and then change the value from 0 to 1 and click OK button.

Now Charms bar of Windows 8 operating system is disable from displaying when flitter the mouse in the right or left corner of the screen.
After that create another new DWORD (32-bit) Value and name it as DisableTLCorner and change the value from 0 to 1 and click OK.

Now App Switcher bar is disable from displaying when flitter the mouse in the top left corner.
Finally the proces is completed now you have to restart your system and log in again and you will see that the Charms and App Switcher don’t come up as easily.

How to Run Sysprep on a Windows operting system?


Sysprep is the shortcut name of Microsoft's System Preparation Tool for Microsoft Windows operating system.

When you want to create a backup of your computer and restore it to any other PC Sysprep can help you. Sysprep can be used to clear out hardware details associated with the operating system, enable Windows update etc.

So, here i describe you how to run this system preparation tool on your computer.

Firstly you have to type cmd in the search option through start menu. Now in cmd window you need to type following two commands:

cd %windir%\system32\sysprep
sysprep.exe

Now this System Preparation Tool will open in a new window, and there are two option OOBE or Audit mode, you can decide which you want to quit or restart or shutdown.

Now your task is successfully done that means Sysprep run on your system.

How to Edit PDF in Word 2013?


If you are working person and use computer setup for your daily life then it is sure that you come across PDF files on regular basis and faces the problem like copying the content from the PDF or make changes to it. Then on your screen a warning message will display that Word will convert the file and may take some time depending on the size of the PDF file, here you just Click on Ok.

If your document is protected and you don't want to change the protection options, Word will ask you for the password of the PDF file before converting it to .docx format.

After that it will show you the original content with the same formatting that means you need not to reformat the content. Its format is same as original pdf file and you can also edit it.s

How to install Windows 8 with Windows 7?


Windows 8, the latest version of windows operating system offers extra features and applications in comparison to its earlier versions. But as this is new to the market, you can use both Windows 7 and Windows 8 to your system, until you are comfortable with this. · Open run dialogue box by pressing keys “win +r”, then type “diskmgmt.msc” to start disk management.

· Right on unallocated partition and then select new simple volume.
· In new simple volume wizard, format the new partition in NTFS and give a volume label to it.
· Then start Windows 8 installations by rebooting bootable Windows 8 DVD or USB flash drive inserted into your computer.  
· Choose custom in the type of installation.
· Select the new partition you created, for the location of your Windows 8 install.
· By default windows 8 will start automatically, but you can select other in boot menu according to your choice.

Parts of Motherboard


Motherboard of a computer setup consists of various parts. Here small description of all the components of motherboard is given below.

1-    Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) Slot
On motherboard there is PCI slots lies between 1 to 6, and slots are of 32 bits. All the input/output devices are attached here like graphic card, sound card, modems etc. Its most common and fast version is known as PCI-E.

2-    Central Processing Unit (CPU) Socket
CPU is called the brain of the computer. If CPU is fine computer running fast. There are mainly two types of sockets are used by the processor first is PGA that is Pin Grid Array and second is LGA that is Land Grid Array.

3-    Motherboard Battery Compartment

Types of Computer Memory


In Computer memory is used to store data in your system. Memory is very important part of your computer system. Your computer setup is useless without memory. For storing data in computer system various type of memory are available.

Some of them are describe below:

Random Access Memory (RAM):

RAM stands for random access memory used for data storage. RAM is volatile in nature that is data is stored only when power is ON, if power supply is off stored data is lost. RAM is of two types one is static RAM that is SRAM and another is Dynamic RAM that is DRAM. Speed of your computer based on your RAM. To increase the performance and speed of your computer you need to increase the capacity of your RAM.

Read Only Memory (ROM):

Read only memory also known as ROM. It is also used to store the data of your computer. ROM is non-volatile in nature that is data is stored even if power is off. It is more secure for storing data because there are no chances of data loss.

Cache:

Cache is also a type of computer memory. It is a kind of RAM that can be accessed more quickly than regular RAM. It is built on CPU and it accesses the stored data in less time and improves overall speed of the computer system.
